About Quiethaven
A quiet companion for daily Christian practice — on iPhone, free, ad-free, and built with care.
Why we built Quiethaven
Most Christian apps either feel like spreadsheets — streaks, badges, gamified guilt — or like noisy social networks selling your attention. Neither is what prayer asks for. Quiethaven exists to be the opposite: a calm, beautiful place to read Scripture, pray, mark gratitude, and — when needed — speak to a real, verified pastor. No ads, no algorithm, no sale of your data.
What's inside
- The whole Bible, in the translation and tradition you choose (Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox), read fully offline.
- A gentle prayer timer, a library of written prayers and the Psalms, and Apple Health integration.
- Pastoral counseling — one-on-one audio sessions with identity-verified clergy. End-to-end encrypted. Never recorded.
- A daily verse on your lock screen, a gratitude journal, and the liturgical calendar tuned to your tradition.
Our values
- Privacy first. Pastoral counseling audio is never recorded or stored on our servers — encrypted in transit between your device and the pastor's, period. Read the full privacy policy for everything we collect (very little) and never collect.
- No ads, ever. Quiethaven is funded by an optional subscription and consumable session packs. We never sell data and we never serve ads.
- Honest about what we are. Pastoral counseling is spiritual support — it is not sacramental confession, and it is not a substitute for licensed therapy or emergency mental-health care. We say so plainly, on every relevant page.
- Ecumenical. Quiethaven serves Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox readers. The Bible canons, liturgical seasons, and prayer libraries all respect your tradition.
Who's behind Quiethaven
Quiethaven is built by a small, independent team. The project is led by Andrei Kazimov, who founded it in 2026 after years of looking for a Bible app that felt more like a chapel than a feed. The team is small enough that real questions reach real people — write us at hello@quiethaven.app.
Editorial & pastoral standards
Bible texts in Quiethaven come from public-domain editions (King James Version, Russian Synodal, Reina-Valera 1909, Church Slavonic). Our blog posts and explainer pages are written by the Quiethaven editorial team and reviewed for theological coherence across the major Christian traditions. Pastoral counselors on the platform are verified by submitting an ordination document, a government ID, a video step, and final moderator review before they appear in the directory.
